the golden hour.

Two things have changed the course of my path this week.
A coffee date with a friend
and chasing the golden hour.

Two evenings with a break from my normal routine,
two seemingly small(ish) happenings.....
both will be moments that will stand out in my mind for months to come.

You know those moments where you can feel God steer you down a new path?  Even if in a subtle way?  These two evenings did that for me.  I'm not trying to sound mysterious or vague or secret-ish.  I just met God in a full-on embrace this week.  Some questions I had were answered, some big promptings to be brave and jump at some opportunities I know He's speaking to me about.

So for now, I leave you with....
"The Golden Hour."

"We had such a wonderful time that we couldn't bear to go back to our regular lives, and so we decided we just wouldn't.

And then all the greatness began."

  2. I am late to post this comment, but was going back thru some of your posts. I so agree with you about the beauty of the "golden hour". Last fall, Mary Chapin Carpenter sang a song about this and it was just beautiful. Enjoyed the photos and will try to get back to about the title of the song!
