Someone commented that I hadn't been posting here or anywhere as often and I suppose that's true. It's for a few reasons, one being that our internet couldn't possibly be any worse. The good news is that the new Ozarks Go internet has been rumored to be heading our way before the end of the year and I simply cannot wait! I also still (increasingly so each week) find social media both wonderful and weird, not necessary at all some days, but also a good tool for documenting the rosy and making connections. Basically, one giant contradiction. Sigh.
But even though I may seem a bit more hidden from the online world or blog posts, I haven't experienced any less joy. I like life off screen. I still really like playing with my camera for example! These shots were taken one evening by holding the camera up and still and seeing what came out on the other side. I thought they looked like magic. Especially those little rainbows that made their way into the shot.
Other behind the scenes joys are plugging away at my self-published book full of rosy stories and moments and continually filling up my art journal pages. More hidden, no less joy.
Do you know the art and joy of "more hidden, no less joy?"
It's not common in our overshared world, that's for sure. It makes me think of my days in college where you didn't know what everyone was doing all the time. Pure bliss!
