You might be scratching your head, wondering why I'm starting an anniversary post off with a picture of a sunflower. (lol) But if you've been around here long enough it will make sense to you.
I get VERY excited about anniversaries and birthdays and I can't think of a happier symbol to start this post out with than a sunflower! I did a quick google search to see what the sunflower's meaning is and this is what I found:
Sunflowers symbolize adoration, loyalty, and longevity. I also read that they are symbols of beauty, delight, hope, and joy.
Sounds like a very fitting anniversary symbol to me!
A huge part of our marriage is our girls! I came across some random photos I couldn't remember if I had posted or not from the spring and summer and thought of the beautiful way Brett and I parent together. He and I complement each other, raise the girls together, and have a whole lot of fun in life.
Brett challenges me to not play small in life, he believes in every single dream I have, he captures me mothering well (like this photo above), cooks for me, and a big one-makes me laugh a lot.
He loves Jesus and us, so well.
I am so very blessed to say happy 11th anniversary to us!
Now we get to have fun without the kids (our favorite!!lol) to celebrate!
