Something that catches people by surprise is the fact that we live on a small, hobby farm. To be honest-it still catches me by surprise sometimes too! Farm/country living is NOT something I had in mind for myself. Not in the slightest. But, along it came with a man named Brett and boy did God surprise me by how much I loved it!
One of our favorite things to do as a family on the weekends is to check the cows. Recently we had 2 or 3 new calves to look at! Those are my favorite moments......wobbly legs, fuzzy fur. So cute.
Brett keeps detailed cattle records on the Ipad, and types in his notes as he drives.

You know how you read those cheesy quotes about God opening a door or dream beyond your wildest imagination?
Well, as cheesy as they may sound I can honestly say it's true. I feel myself relax and get inspired in the country. I would have never imagined it for myself, but I'm so glad God did.
Oh, I love learning that God truly knows what's best for you. It's so fun to see how he often takes you to places that are not only different than what you imagined but better.
