A Porch Party

We had a little porch party.  A breakfast for dinner sort of shindig.
"Let's celebrate just because" is my motto around here and we rocked this party.

Almond milk, banana muffins (no sugar or butter-woooot), eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and bananas.

Can you celebrate today, just because?
Go on,
you can do it. :)

(I keep thinking my gals will grow up, look back, and either think mama was the most fun in the world, or will roll their eyes and think I was loony, lol)

    1. So I STILL haven't gotten around to making the bread. And the good persimmons are mocking me way up high in the tree. Where do you get yours?

  4. I love this post because it reminds me of the years when my boys were young (they are now 14 & 20) and I would fix "special snacks" several times a week. They weren't fancy, but it was the effort I would put into them, such as making smiley faces out of sandwiches and veggies, or using silly plates and filling them up with 5 or 6 different snack foods. To little boys, those looked like a feast! My boys still remember "special snacks" and they sometimes say they wish they were still little because of those moments. Good "mommy" times.
P.S. I found your blog in Mary Janes Farm magazine :)

    1. Hi Debbie! Welcome to The Rosy Life :) :) Thank-you so much for sharing your memory of your boys....it helps mama's like me with young kids to know that these little things we're doing matter.

      :)
