A rosy list for spring.

(Not pictured in this post.."Little One". But only because of foster care rules. Little one is just as much a part of all of this as you could imagine! Right in the middle of everything :) )

 the rosy list:

making it 'till spring
longer, lighter, brighter days
bubbles with a mind all their own
watching A Night at the Museum
bare feet
exploring deep in the woods on the farm with no camera or phone
play time at the creek
salad three days in a row with this: goat cheese, walnuts (preferably toasted), cranberries, and balsamic vinegar
wearing my robe at all hours of the day
everyday noticing something new growing, sprouting, springing forth with color
booking our first camping trip
finally ending my months long book reading hiatus
hanging a cheerful bunting all across the front porch
painting in dabs, here and there and not sharing them online
deleting IG and Safari off my phone and the world feeling instantly quieter and calmer
soft-boiled eggs (or the 8-minute egg as I've affectionally named them)
writing more and more on my "notes" on my laptop-perhaps these will turn into a book or maybe they're just for me
teaching Sunday school
all things cooking
watching my girls grow even more confident, imaginative, and kind
the look of delight on my little one's face when they discovered the sprinkler!

The sweet, simple things: a photo shoot with my girls.

"I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all."
